The best bet is get as many members as possible to canvas the neighborhood and to have the petition at local businesses. Gas stations, restaurants and so forth. Also a petition for those that don't live in Greenville to show that we not only come to Timmons to play we also spend our money in Greenville at area business before and following the rounds we play.

That money is considered tourism money. Maybe some of the local business owners that benefit from the disc golf players would also speak up in favor of keeping the course. I think we need a grassroots effort to get the job done.

Please print this out and disseminate as you see fit. Collect as many signatures as you can from individuals who are sympathetic to our cause.


Remember, do not get the same signature twice or it will invalidate our petition.


Please either drop the petition in the mail in time to arrive at my residence by Saturday, Feb 23rd OR you can meet me in person at Timmons Park on Sunday, the 24th between 2-3pm to hand them to me in person.

I will gather all of the signature pages together to hand in as one at the City Council Meeting on the 25th.
