Mark your calendars for January 24th.

I would also like to suggest this year that we split our donation between Home with a Heart and the Mr. O scholarship fund. Mr. Oxendine was a beloved Easley High School teacher that past away suddenly last year.

Last year we had (I think) 38 people show and we raised a little over $1,000 for Home with a Heart. I am hoping for a big push this year from our high school kids. Our student council is willing to help promote this tournament and one of our seniors has made disc golf his senior project. So he will have some pull at our school as well. So I hope that even by splitting the money raised we can still pull in the same amount for Home with a Heart.

Let me know if anyone is opposed to this idea, but I think this could be a great opportunity for two charities and a great opportunity to introduce disc golf to new people.

So I'm not sure how tournaments work, so was hoping to get a couple questions answered. I plan on playing in the Easley Ice Bowl but am not sure how exactly sign-ups work. I've only played for a few months, so I assume I'm a novice...does that mean I'll be pared w/ a pro for doubles and compete w/ other novices for singles? And I hope there's a limit to the mulligans one can buy, and how much are they? Anyway, just didn't want to show up hoping for the best, thanks for any help.

BTW, I can bring some chili and cornbread so I'll at least be contributing something Rolling Eyes
