The recent storms have taken down two major limbs of the tree that had previously protected the basket, so maybe it's time to move it back to a more challenging position?

It wasn't too long ago there used to be another large tree to the front and left of the basket (now a stump), and before the bridge was put in there was a second tree near the teepad just to the left that added even more challenge.

Moving the basket only 10-12 feet further back under the tree would be pretty simple and return some of the challenge that the hole used to have just 2 weeks ago.

This used to be a hole that required a narrowly-defined tee shot to a well-protected pin location, and now it has neither. Please comment as to what you think about returning some of the challenge to what has unfortunately become a very average hole.

Pictures below show how accessible the pin is now from a high-angled approach.

still not an easy 2 but I'm always all for making any holes at Timmons more difficult

No, I wouldn't say an easy 2, but it's not even an average-difficulty 3 anymore.

The new 12th is not an easy 3 for us mortals, but 14 & 15 are super-easy for just about anyone. I don't see the need to have 3 straight-forward exposed pin locations, especially when a 10 foot change can bring this hole back to how the original design intended it to play.
